The company handles grant applications, contractor management, and quality assurance, and the grant is deducted from the cost of the works upfront. Grant amounts under this route are often higher than the individual Better Energy Homes grants for the same measures.
The home must have been built and occupied before 2011 and have a BER of B3 or lower to qualify. If you need additional finance, the Home Energy Upgrade Loan (low-cost, government-backed) is available alongside the grant.
