Innovation Vouchers build links between Ireland's public knowledge providers (universities and institutes of technology) and small businesses. Each standard voucher is worth €10,000 and can be used to explore a business opportunity or technical challenge with a registered knowledge provider. Co-funded vouchers cover projects up to €20,000 on a 50/50 basis. A company may hold up to four vouchers in total (three standard, one co-funded). Applications are open year-round. Note: vouchers are exclusive of VAT — companies pay VAT separately to the knowledge provider.
Eligibility Requirements
SMEs registered with the CRO in Ireland with fewer than 250 employees and annual turnover under €50m. Companies do not need to be existing Enterprise Ireland clients.
