TAMS 3 provides capital investment grants under Ireland's CAP Strategic Plan 2023–2027. The scheme covers a wide range of farm building and equipment investments including dairy equipment, animal housing, nutrient storage, renewable energy, safety equipment, and water quality measures. Standard grant rate: 40% of eligible costs. Enhanced rates available:
• Young farmers (under 40, with required qualifications): higher rate
• Organic farmers: 60% under the Organic Capital Investment Scheme
• Women participating in farming scheme: enhanced rate

Maximum investment ceiling per holding: €90,000 (rising to €160,000 for registered Farm Partnerships). Applications open in tranches — check gov.ie/agfood.ie for current tranche dates. 79% of TAMS 3 Tranche 8 applications have been approved as of early 2026.
